Frank De Bleker, Chairman of the AFFA Referees Committee, has penalized referee Inqilab Mammadov. According to Sport24.az, this was due to a gross mistake by the referee in the "Imishli" - "Gabala" (2:2) match held in the 8th round of the Misli Premier League.
In the 59th minute, "Imishli" defender Ronaldo de Souza stopped a dangerous attack by "Gabala" with his hand.
Despite this, the head referee of the match, Inqilab Mammadov, did not show a card to the Brazilian legionnaire of "Imishli".
After this incident, Mammadov was unable to get appointments for the IX and X round matches. Most likely, he will not be trusted in the coming weeks either.
