Innovations will be implemented in the leagues organized by AFFA.
Idman.Biz reports that the national association has released information about this.
It was reported that before the start of the 2025/2026 season, meetings were held at different dates in the administrative building of AFFA with the online participation of representatives of clubs participating in the Misli Premier League, academies, other individual teams, and teams participating in centralized regions.
A number of issues were discussed at these meetings, proposals were evaluated, and some new decisions were adopted.
"As you know, results are not recorded and tournament tables are not applied in AFFA U-8, AFFA U-9, AFFA U-10, AFFA U-11 and AFFA U-12 leagues. We often encounter large score results in the games of these age groups. In order to prevent players from losing their enthusiasm for football and to ensure match balance, the AFFA management has conducted extensive discussions on this topic and made a decision that can eliminate this nuance.
According to the new decision, if any team is behind by 3 goals during the game, it can add 1 player to the main squad. If the score difference is 6 goals, the losing team can add 1 more player to the main squad. When the score difference drops to 4 goals, 1 of the 2 additional players on the field must leave the field.
In conclusion, when there is a 3-goal difference, 1 additional player, and when there is a 6-goal difference, one more additional player can enter the field. If the goal difference drops to 4 and 2, the players who entered the field must leave the field accordingly. The maximum number of players who can additionally enter the field due to the score difference should be 2," the information emphasized.
