Today is the birthday of Anatoli Banishevskiy, one of the bright figures in the history of Azerbaijani football, who defended the honor of the "Neftchi" club for many years, played in the USSR national team and was remembered as one of the strongest and most talented forwards of his time. Sport24.az reports that on the 80th anniversary of his birth, the AFFA leadership, representatives of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and football veterans visited the grave of the deceased football player, laid flowers and deeply honored his dear memory with respect and reverence.
