The Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) held an event within the framework of the Children's Rights Month at the penitentiary institution for minors of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice.
İdman.Biz reports with reference to the official website of AFFA that the main purpose of the seminar organized within the framework of the "Protection of Children's Rights in Football" project is to increase the legal awareness of juvenile convicts, strengthen safe behavior models in them, as well as support their social integration, rehabilitation and positive emotional development through football.
At the event, specialists gave lectures to juvenile convicts, provided information about children's rights, psychological and physical violence, prevention of discrimination, the purpose and principles of the code of conduct, recommendations of the World Health Organization regarding safe and physical environment, protection of rights in the football environment, creation of a safe football environment, ethical rules in football, interactive discussions were held, and their questions were answered.
