The on-site visit, feedback, and individual evaluation process for the academies of Misli Premier League clubs for 2026, which is the first stage of the "Needs Analysis and Support Process" framework, has been completed.
"Report" reports that AFFA has released information about this.
Feedback reports were presented on-site to some of the clubs and organized in the form of online presentations and discussion sessions with other academies by AFFA representative Sarkhan Huseynov, who is a coach specialist-coordinator for the development of club academies.
The purpose of the visits and reports was to assess the current state of academies and football schools in various fields within the framework of the "5-Star Academy Development Model", which AFFA will implement from the next season.
Individual presentations were made with each academy, transparent analysis of the current situation, highlighting of strengths, detailed feedback on areas in need of development, and discussion of next steps. Based on the needs identified as a result of the visits and the feedback received from the academy leaders, AFFA plans to present support measures to the club academies.
This process aims not only to evaluate but also to create a practical support mechanism for the development of academies. The goal is the long-term, sustainable, and professional development of the children's and youth system, which forms the basis of Azerbaijani football.
