"Shamakhi" forward Abdullahi Shuaybu has been disqualified for three matches, and the club has been fined a total of 4,500 manats.
Idman.Biz reports that the decision was made at a meeting of the AFFA Disciplinary Committee.
Shuaybu, who received a straight red card in the 44th minute of the match against "Kapaz" in the VIII round for aggressive behavior against an opponent, has been suspended for three games. His behavior cost "Shamakhi" 3,000 manats.
Both teams - "Kapaz" and "Shamakhi" - faced a fine of 1,500 manats due to problems with the matching of uniforms, which caused the match to start late. In addition, "Kapaz" will pay another 700 manats for four of its players receiving yellow cards.
According to the decision of the Disciplinary Committee, the guest team in the "Imishli" - "Gabala" match, whose five players received warnings, was fined 700 manats.
The "Sumgayit" - "Karvan-Yevlakh" match started late due to the guest team's late arrival on the field, so "Karvan-Yevlakh" was fined 3,000 manats.
