The creation of a national team in another age group is planned in Azerbaijan.
Idman.Biz reports that AFFA is considering the formation of the U-14 national team. This team will be the next step after the already established U-20 team.
Sportinfo.az writes that the new team will serve as a base for the U-15 and U-16 teams, and will also serve to train players. It is planned to involve promising football players aged 12-14 in the squad. According to the plans, the team will gather at least five to six times a year and participate in various international tournaments.
