The Azerbaijani national team, which will face the French national team in the qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup, will not be without support in the away match.
Murad Akhundov, head of the Press and Public Relations Department of AFFA, told "Report" about this.
According to him, the team will leave for Paris at noon on October 8:
"After the match, the national team will go to Krakow for the match against Ukraine. After that meeting, the players will return to their homeland. We do not yet know how many fans will support us in the match in France. We will be able to get information about this after arriving in Paris. Azerbaijanis living in France and other European countries will come to support our national team."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team will face France on October 10 at the "Parc des Princes", and three days later Ukraine at the "Krakovia" stadium in Krakow.
