AFFA has signed a licensing agreement with FIFA to enhance the international image of Azerbaijani football.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to AFFA that the agreement covers selected matches and video content (material) from competitions organized under the AFFA flag during the license period - until September 1, 2028.
This program includes friendly matches and Nations League qualifying matches of the Azerbaijan women's national team, two selected matches from each round of the Higher Girls League, leagues for lower age groups held under the AFFA flag, as well as documentaries and on-demand video content. Additional competitions may also be included based on mutual agreement.
The selected content may be presented on FIFA+, FIFA's official broadcasting service, to further strengthen the international digital presence of Azerbaijani football and support efforts to expand AFFA's global reach.
