The new head coach of "Kapaz" Adil Shukurov gave an interview to the club's press service. Sport24.az presents the interview.
- Adil muellim, what is the situation with the team's squad? Are you looking at new players? Are there any players you like and want to bring to the team?
- Our negotiations with some players in the team are ongoing. If there is any progress, "Kapaz" fans will be informed. In the meantime, we are trying to attract new players to the team. We are trying not to be mistaken in the transfer issue. But we watch the players' games not live, but in their previous teams. There are players we want to bring to the team. As I mentioned, an announcement will be made to the public about the players we have made a final decision on.
- What is the team's preparation plan? Where will the training camp be held?
- On June 30, the team will start preparing in Ganja. You know that the club's Training Center has ideal conditions. The condition of the fields and the base is very suitable for us to train there. The fitness hall is equipped with the necessary equipment. There are appropriate opportunities for a football player to prepare comprehensively. We will complete the 10-day first preparation stage with a two-sided game. We will take a one-day break and start the second stage of preparation. We are planning five friendly matches in this stage. The training camp will be held within the country.
- Are the opponents known for friendly matches? Is it planned to organize additional games before the start of the season?
- During the preparation period, we will hold 5 test games, the time of such matches is known. We will appear on the field on July 16, 21, 26, 31 and August 5. Information about the teams we will play friendly matches will be given in the coming days.
- Who are the members of the coaching staff? Are your assistants known?
- Yes, the coaching staff has been determined. Assistant coaches will be Ilyas Gurbanov, Zaur Asadov, and analytical coach will be Elmir Huseynov. Vugar Mammadov will work with the goalkeepers. A physical training coach will probably be invited from abroad.
