"The points we lost in the games after the winter break do not satisfy us as a team." These words were said to Sport24.az by Adil Shukurov, the head coach of "Sabail".
The experienced specialist evaluated his team's performance after the winter break:
"The points we lost are worth gold for us today. We have made our job difficult in the fight for the championship. All the teams playing in the First League are capable of taking points from each other. Difficult games await us ahead. We must be ready for those meetings. Our position in the standings does not satisfy us. We have a goal and we must move towards it. We must rise to the Premier League. We are currently in 3rd place, 3 points behind "Baku Sporting" in 2nd place. Our point difference with "Mingachevir" in 4th place is not that big. We want to win this fight and we will do whatever we can for it."
It should be noted that "Sabail" is in 3rd place with 34 points after 19 rounds in the First League.
