The 48-year-old specialist spoke about the team's goals for the next season: "The team's goal in the new season is to stay in the Premier League. We parted ways with almost 70-80 percent of the squad. The main reason was that the players wanted higher salaries, which was beyond our means. That's why we couldn't continue with them. We had to attract new players to the squad with conditions that suit us. This will also have an impact. We need a minimum of 2 months to instill the style of play we want in the team."
It should be noted that Shukurov coached the "yellow-blues" from November 2023 to August 2024. He returned to the "helm" of "Kapaz" this summer.
