Fannie Colin, the lawyer for Achraf Hakimi, the defender of the Moroccan national team and Paris Saint-Germain, has issued an official statement regarding the upcoming rape trial.
İdman.Biz reports that the Nanterre prosecutor's office filed charges against Hakimi in March 2023. He is accused of raping a 24-year-old woman who reported the incident to police in February of that year.
"The court process has only been set up on the charge, which is based solely on the testimony of a woman who has obstructed all investigations, refused all medical examinations and DNA tests, refused to produce the contents of her mobile phone and refused to name a key witness.
Two consecutive psychological assessments revealed uncertain facts regarding the woman's alleged denials, as well as the absence of post-traumatic symptoms.
Throughout this period, she planned to "rip off" Mr. Hakimi, trying to hide from the courts several messages she shared with a friend.
We are determined and ready to fight for justice, awaiting this trial," Colin wrote on his social media page.
