Moroccan national team and PSG footballer Achraf Hakimi will face trial on rape allegations. Sport24.az reports, citing Le Parisien, that the hearing date has not yet been set.
The Nanterre prosecutor's office filed charges against Hakimi in March 2023. The footballer is accused of raping a 24-year-old woman who filed a police complaint in February of that year. In August 2025, Le Parisien reported that Hakimi faces up to 15 years in prison at the request of the Nanterre prosecutor's office.
It should be noted that the 27-year-old Hakimi has been playing for PSG since the summer of 2021. Together with the team, he won four French championships, three French Super Cups, two French Cups, as well as the Champions League and the UEFA Super Cup.
