The English portal "FourFourTwo" has compiled a ranking of the best left-backs in modern world football. Sport24.az reports that the first place is taken by PSG's Portuguese footballer Nuno Mendes.
Croatian Josko Gvardiol from Manchester City is in second place, and Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth is in 3rd.
The top "10" also includes Federico Dimarco ("Inter"), Alexandro Grimaldo ("Bayer"), Alfonso Davies ("Bayern"), Alex Balde ("Barcelona"), Theo Hernandez ("Milan"), Ferland Mendy ("Real") and Anthony Robinson ("Fulham").
It should be noted that Mendes stood out with 6 goals and 6 assists in 48 matches in all competitions at the club level in the past season. He was also selected as the best player of the League of Nations as part of the Portuguese national team.
