Azerbaijani national team footballer Mahir Emreli, who is confirmed to leave the German club "Nürnberg" at the end of the current season, wants to continue his career in the Bundesliga.
"Report" informs that the country's famous "Bild" publication has reported on this.
It was reported that the recent performances, scoring four goals in four matches, helped the 27-year-old striker during the negotiations. Although relevant discussions were held, no agreement was reached:
"Probably also because Emreli wants to earn significantly more money than before. The national team member was brought into the team for a cheap amount in the summer. He now sees himself in a good position in the negotiations and prefers to play for a Bundesliga club."
It should be noted that Mahir Emreli, who moved to "Nürnberg" at the beginning of the season, scored 7 goals in the II Bundesliga and 1 goal in the German Cup. The club has announced that the striker's contract, which expires at the end of the season, will not be extended.
