"Qarabag" played two different matches against English representative "Newcastle" in the play-off stage of the UEFA Champions League.
"Report" reports with reference to the official website of UEFA that this was said by Aghdam's half-defender Abdullah Zubir.
He stated that they performed differently in a positive way in the return match with Newcastle:
"I think there were many differences between the first and return games. We played two different games against this team. But today we wanted to play better football and show the true strength of the real "Qarabag". I think we achieved that. It is very important for our fans that we perform well. We put on a good game and scored two goals. This was important after the big defeat in the first match. Although we didn't start the match as we wanted, we were able to recover later."
It should be noted that the match "Newcastle" - "Qarabag" ended with a 3:2 victory for the home team. Since the English representative (6:1) also won in the first match between the parties, the "stallions" stopped fighting in the Champions League.
