Qarabag's footballer Abdullah Zubir gave an interview to the famous French publication "Lequipe". Sport24.az reports that the 33-year-old winger had kind words for Azerbaijan and the country's football.
The Moroccan-born French player stated that Azerbaijanis are hospitable:
"I have been playing in this country since 2018. I was shocked when I came here. The Azerbaijani championship is developing rapidly. This is a hospitable place for foreign players."
It should be noted that Zubir, who has been playing for Qarabag since 2018, has been the national champion six times and won the national cup twice.
