"I am very happy. I don't know how to express my feelings". These words were said by "Qarabagh" football player Abdullah Zubir in his statement to Sport24.az.
The experienced midfielder shared his thoughts after the return match of the Champions League play-off stage, which they lost to Hungarian "Ferencvaros" in Baku (2:3):
"I am happy. It was a very difficult game. Playing in the Champions League is my childhood dream. I am very happy for the club, the fans, and the country. We finally managed to do it."
The player also spoke about celebrating his joy with head coach Gurban Gurbanov after the match: "Celebrating with Gurban muallim was my own decision. Because we have been working with him for several years. I know how hard he works. We saw the fruits of our labor. This makes us very happy. Gurban Gurbanov deserves even more than this."
It should be noted that "Qarabagh", who defeated their opponent 3:1 away, advanced to the main stage of the Champions League.
