The flank defender shared his thoughts after the qualifying match for the DÇ-2026, which they lost at home to Iceland (0:2):
"I believe that in the future we will perform even better and make our people happy".
Huseynov also touched on the match against France, which they will play on November 13:
"The opponent is France. But we will try to prepare well. We don't have much time. We will do our best to at least make our people happy. Winning will be a little difficult. But we will still not shy away from the opponent. I hope we can achieve a good result".
Finally, he also touched on the fact that the national team has not been able to win official matches for a long time:
