Famous Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey has announced the end of his career. Sport24.az reports with reference to the British press that the 35-year-old footballer's last club was Mexico's "Pumas", where he played only 6 games and scored one goal before leaving in November last year.
Ramsey gained his greatest popularity while playing for Arsenal. He played 369 games for the "Gunners" in all tournaments, scored 64 goals and made 60 assists. With Arsenal, Ramsey won the FA Cup three times and was twice named the club's player of the season (2013/14 and 2017/18).
In addition to Arsenal, Ramsey also played for Juventus (70 games, six goals and six assists), with whom he became the A Series champion, as well as winning the Italian Cup and Super Cup. The Welsh footballer also wore the jerseys of Rangers, Nice and Cardiff.
Ramsey played 86 games for the Wales national team, scored 21 goals and made 9 assists. The midfielder played for the "dragons" in two European championships (2016 and 2020), as well as the 2022 World Cup.
