Azerbaijani national team footballer Mahir Emreli has come into the focus of another German club.
Idman.biz reports with reference to the German press that the 28-year-old striker is targeted by Fortuna.
The Düsseldorf club wants to acquire the forward, who will become a free agent in the summer. Mahir's transfer is desired by Klaus Allofs, a member of the club's Board of Directors, and sports director Kristian Weber.
Mahir, whose contract with Nürnberg is coming to an end, is also targeted by Sankt Pauli and Kaiserslautern. Since the striker himself wants to stay in Germany, Fortuna intends to take advantage of this.
