The Arbitration Board of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has made a decision regarding 67 referees.
Idman.Biz reports, citing "Türkiye gazetesi," that the Turkish Football Federation has provided information about this.
According to reports, the TFF Arbitration Board has rejected the appeals of 67 referees who received bans for participating in betting games.
According to the TFF, a total of 149 referees were penalized for eight to 12 months, 67 of whom appealed the decision.
The Arbitration Board evaluated the appeals at its meeting and confirmed the decisions made.
82 referees who were penalized by the Professional Football Disciplinary Board did not object to the decisions made against them. Thus, the careers of 149 referees whose sentences have been finalized are over.
On the other hand, the investigation of the documents of the referees Zorbay Küçük, Melih Kurt and Mertcan Tuba, who were sent to the Professional Football Disciplinary Board, is still ongoing by the organization.
