Several members of the Azerbaijani national team face the risk of missing the match against France in the qualifying round for the 2026 World Cup. According to Sport24.az, six players of the national team may not be able to play in the match.
Toral Bayramov, Renat Dadashov, Rahman Dashdemirov, Abbas Huseynov, Emin Mahmudov and Rustam Ahmadzada are on a yellow card limit. If they receive a yellow card in today's match against Iceland, they will miss the next match against France.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan-Iceland match will start today at 21:00. The national team will host the French national team on November 16.
