52 tons of confetti were thrown from the stands of the "Mas Monumental" stadium in Buenos Aires before the Argentine Premier League (Apertura) match between "River Plate" and "Boca Juniors". This was reported by the "OneFootball" portal, according to Sport24.az.
The match, watched by approximately 85,000 spectators, ended with a minimal victory for the guests, finishing with a score of 1-0. Leandro Paredes scored the only goal of the match from a penalty in the 45+6 minute.
It is worth noting that "Boca Juniors" is third in Group A of the Apertura, while "River Plate" is second in Group B.
