The draw for the group stage of the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in three countries - the USA, Canada and Mexico from June 11 to July 19, has been completed. For the first time in the World Cup, forty-eight teams divided into 12 groups of four teams each will participate.

Group A: Mexico, South Africa, South Korea, European play-offs – Path D (Denmark/North Macedonia/Czech Republic/Ireland).
Group B: Canada, Qatar, Switzerland, European play-offs – Path A (Italy/Northern Ireland/Wales/Bosnia and Herzegovina).
Group C: Brazil, Morocco, Haiti, Scotland.
Group D: USA, Paraguay, Australia, European play-offs – Path C (Turkey/Romania/Slovakia/Kosovo).
Group E: Germany, Curacao, Ivory Coast, Ecuador.
Group F: Netherlands, Japan, Tunisia, European Play-off Path B (Ukraine/Sweden/Poland/Albania).
Group G: Belgium, Egypt, Iran, New Zealand.
Group H: Spain, Cabo Verde, Saudi Arabia, Uruguay.
Group I: France, Senegal, Norway, Intercontinental Play-off Path 2 (Bolivia/Suriname/Iraq).
Group J: Argentina, Algeria, Austria, Jordan.
Group K: Portugal, Uzbekistan, Colombia, Intercontinental Play-off Path 1 (New Caledonia/Jamaica/Democratic Republic of Congo).
Group L: England, Croatia, Ghana, Panama.
Currently, 42 teams have secured a place in the 2026 World Cup. Six more teams will be determined through play-off matches to be held at the end of March 2026.
In the World Cup, not only the first two teams, but also the majority of the third-place teams (the first eight out of 12 teams) will advance from their groups, and the play-offs will begin in the 1/32 final stage.
