The International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) has published the list of nominees for the 2025 World's Best Playmaker award on its official website. Sport24.az reports that the shortlist includes 15 players.
Arda Güler, Bruno Fernandes, Cole Palmer, Florian Wirtz, Jude Bellingham, Kevin De Bruyne, Lamine Yamal, Martin Odegaard, Pedri, Vitinha, Lionel Messi, James Rodriguez, Reo Hatate, Mohammed Kudus, and Malik Tillman are among the nominees for the award.
It should be noted that the selection is based on the calendar year, not the entire football season. The final results of the voting will be announced after December 10.
