London police arrested a 19-year-old fan on November 8 for allegedly insulting Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount during the Premier League match against Tottenham. Sport24.az reports that the information was published by The Athletic.
According to the source, a stadium employee, hearing the fan using abusive language about the "Red Devils" player, removed the fan from the arena. The employee then reported the incident.
It should be noted that the fan was arrested under the article "deliberate harassment, causing alarm or distress" and was released on bail pending investigation.
