The number of goals scored by Azerbaijani clubs in the UEFA Champions League has reached 150.

Azerbaijani teams reached 150 in the 116th match held in the qualifying and main stages of the continent's most prestigious club tournament.
These goals were scored by 7 teams. "Qarabag" scored the most – 110 times. "Neftchi" scored 18, "Baku" 7, "Shamkir" 6, "Kapaz" 4, "Shamakhi" 3, "Khazar Lankaran" 2 goals. Of the 150 goals, 135 were scored in the qualifying and play-off stages, and 15 in the main stages (group and league).
It should be noted that Imamyar Suleymanov scored the first goal of the Azerbaijani representatives in the Champions League. He scored in the LKS (Poland) - "Kapaz" match (4:1) held on July 22, 1998.
