Today, the penultimate - 10th round games will be held at the European Women's Chess Championship held on the island of Rhodes, Greece. Sport24.az reports that Azerbaijani chess players are already 2.5 points behind the leader.
Govhar Beydullayeva, Gulnar Mammadova, Narmin Abdinova and Turkan Mammadyarova scored 5.5 points each. All of them are far from the World Cup, where the ten strongest chess players will win a ticket based on the results of the continental championship.
