The penultimate round - the 10th round - of the European Women's Chess Championship, which is being held on the Greek island of Rhodes, will take place today. Sport24.az reports that Azerbaijani chess players are already 2.5 points behind the leader.
Govhar Beydullayeva, Gulnar Mammadova, Narmin Abdinova and Turkan Mammadyarova each scored 5.5 points. All of them are far from the World Cup, where, based on the results of the continental championship, the ten strongest chess players will win a ticket.
