Azerbaijani chess player Gunay Mammadzada said this in her statement to Idman.biz, commenting on her victory in the "Battle of Champions" tournament held in Baku.
She shared her impressions after winning against Bulgarian Antoaneta Stefanova. "There were numerous and interesting moves, different ideas during the games. The atmosphere of the National Carpet Museum, where the competition was held, was also fascinating. I thank the federation for such an interesting initiative - it was a very good tournament," Gunay said in her statement.
The chess player also noted her confidence that such tournaments will be interesting for both participants and fans in the future: "The Battle of Champions" will remain in memory for a long time. It aroused the most pleasant impressions."
