A master class was conducted by two-time world and European chess champion Antoaneta Stefanova at the National Carpet Museum, organized by the Azerbaijan Chess Federation (ACF).
According to Idman.biz, the president of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation, Vice-President of the International Chess Federation Mahir Mammadov, who participated in the event, stated that the main goal is to support the formation of young chess players as professional athletes.
At the meeting, which was attended by 20 young chess players, Antoaneta Stefanova spoke about her path to success and the important moments of her career. Then, an exchange of views took place on chess debuts and other situations, and questions of interest to young people were answered.
At the end of the master classes, certificates and gifts were presented to the participants.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan Chess Federation regularly implements various projects and events aimed at instilling interest in sports among young people and educating them in a healthy spirit.
