Azerbaijani boxers Saidjamshid Jafarov (75 kg) and Alfonso Dominguez (90 kg) were defeated in the semi-final stage of the World Championship held in Liverpool, England.
According to "Report", both athletes finished the competition with a bronze medal.
Jafarov (75 kg) faced Fazliddin Erkinboyev from Uzbekistan in the semi-final of the World Championship, and the boxer settled for a bronze medal as his opponent advanced to the next stage.
Alfonso Dominguez (90 kg) faced Brazilian Santos Ribeiro Filho in the semi-final. Our representative took 3rd place as the opponent qualified for the final.
