Azerbaijan's basketball club "Sabah" has signed a contract with a new head coach.
Idman.Biz reports that, according to Serbian media, the four-time champion of Azerbaijan has reached an agreement with 33-year-old Serbian specialist Lazar Spasic.
It has been revealed that the contract with Spasic, considered one of Europe's most promising basketball coaches, is for a period of three years.
It is worth noting that the young specialist's last job was with the German club "Oldenburg". He initially worked here as an assistant head coach, and then took over the helm of the team, significantly improving the club's position in the German championship.
In addition, last week "Sabah" announced the departure of the well-known Lithuanian specialist Rimas Kurtinaitis from the head coach position. He decided to continue his career in the Lithuanian national team.
