Azerbaijan's women's 3x3 basketball team wins silver medal at the III CIS Games

Azerbaijan's women's 3x3 basketball team faced the Russian team in the final of the III CIS Games.

Idman.biz reports that the match ended with a score of 19:13 in favor of the Russians.

Our women's team (Polina Shukina, Deniz Gokchol, Angelina Ismayilova and Leyla Allahverdiyeva) started the tournament with a defeat to Uzbekistan (13:16), but qualified for the semi-finals by winning consecutive victories. Our team defeated Kazakhstan (20:5), Russia (19:18) and Belarus (18:17).

In the semi-finals, our team was superior to Uzbekistan - 22:18.
