"Al-Hilal" striker Karim Benzema and the Saudi Arabian club's management have held talks before the start of the Pro League season.

According to insiders, the Frenchman hopes to play a key role in the club, while Al-Hilal officials are closely monitoring the transfer market for a possible replacement.
Recall that Benzema joined the Saudi Arabian club in February 2026. Due to restrictions on the number of foreign players in the Saudi Arabian league, former Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez was not included in Al-Hilal's squad for the season. He only played in the AFC Elite Champions League.
