The Japan Football Association (JFA) has decided to keep Hajime Moriyasu as the head coach of the national team. According to Sport24.az, the association's official website has announced this information.
The JFA has announced that Moriyasu will remain in his post until the end of the Asian Cup to be held in January-February 2027. He will then be replaced by Go Oiva, who is currently in charge of Japan's U-21 team.
Note that the Japanese national team, led by Moriyasu, lost to Brazil (1:2) in the last World Cup and stopped competing in the 1/16 final stage.
