Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestler Ziya Babashov became the winner of the U-23 World Championship held in Novi Sad, Serbia.
"Report" informs that our representative, competing in the 63 kg weight category, won the gold medal by defeating Moldovan Vitali Yeryomenko with a score of 6:3 in the decisive stage.
It should be noted that another Greco-Roman wrestler, Elmir Aliyev (55 kg), has reached the final.
