Idman.Biz reports that the names of the winners in three more weight categories became clear on the last day of the competition.
Gasim Ismayilov took first place in the 79 kg weight category with a total result of 291 kg (126 kg + 165 kg).
Akif Abdullayev was superior to his rivals in the 88 kg weight category with a total result of 321 kg (146 kg + 175 kg).
Mammad Ahmadzadeh celebrated the victory in the 94 kg weight category with a total result of 296 kg (135 kg + 165 kg).

The competition of male athletes continues at the Azerbaijan Weightlifting Championship. The names of the winners in three more weight categories have been announced in the following days of the tournament.
Idman.Biz reports that Mirmöhsüm Tagizadeh, who competed in the 60 kg weight category, surpassed his rivals and climbed to the highest step of the podium. He formalized his championship by showing a total result of 175 kg (76 kg + 99 kg).
A more intense struggle was observed in the 65 kg weight category. Here, Musab Mammadtagiyev won the gold medal by coping with a total weight of 256 kg (111 kg + 145 kg).
One of the highest performances of the day was signed by Fuad Hasanov. The athlete, who competed in the 71 kg weight category, left all his rivals behind with a total result of 299 kg (141 kg + 158 kg) and won the title of Azerbaijani champion.
