Our athlete Elmir Aliyev, wrestling in the 55 kg weight category, advanced to the final of the World Championship by defeating Iranian Armin Shamsipurhaji with a "pin" in the semi-final.
It should be noted that Ziya Babashov (63 kg) also reached the final. He will face Moldovan Vitali Yeryomenko in the final.
Lachin Valiyev (87 kg) will wrestle American Payton Jacobson for a bronze medal.
