Allahverdiyev, Abdullazade and Tsokayev defeated their opponents and advanced to the 1/4 finals. Zafar Aliyev stopped fighting after losing the second match.
Today, two more athletes from the Azerbaijani national team - Kanan Heybatov (70 kg) and Khetag Karsanov (125 kg) will compete for a gold medal by reaching the final match.

Jeyhun Allahverdiyev (61 kg), Aykhan Abdullazade (65 kg), Ali Chokayev (86 kg) and Zafar Aliyev (97 kg) will join the fight.
At the same time, the Azerbaijani national team will have a chance to win two "gold" medals in the evening. Kanan Heybatov (70 kg) and Khetag Karsanov (125 kg) will test their strength in the final matches of their weight categories.
Currently, the Azerbaijani national team has four medals: two gold and two bronze. Elmir Aliyev (55 kg) and Ziya Babashov (63 kg) became world champions. Ruslan Nurullayev (72 kg) and Gunay Gurbanova (59 kg) took third places.
