The U-17 European Wrestling Championship continues in Samokov, Bulgaria.
Idman.Biz reports that our compatriot Huseyn Rzazade in the 48 kg weight category faced Ukrainian wrestler Volodymyr Boyko.
Rzazade defeated his opponent with a complete advantage and became the European champion.
Abbas Shafiyev (55 kg) won a bronze medal by defeating Hungarian Kiril Shumeyko with a score of 13:7.

Azerbaijani wrestlers will compete for bronze medals and in the finals at the U-17 European Championship held in Samokov, Bulgaria.
Idman.Biz reports that Abbas Shafiyev, competing in the 55 kg weight category, will fight against French wrestler Issa Churaev and Hungarian representative Kiril Shumeyko for a bronze medal.
In the 110 kg category, Hakim Tagiyev will test his strength in the bronze medal matches against Romanian wrestler Marku Vintan and Daniil Zhivula from Belarus.
In the final matches, Huseyn Rzazade in the 48 kg weight category will face Ukrainian wrestler Volodymyr Boyko, Rashid Nazarov in the 65 kg category will face Russian representative Maksim Mongush, and Nihad Suleymanli in the 80 kg category will face Turkish wrestler Emirhan Çayır.
