The national Greco-Roman wrestling team has started its next training camp today.
QOL.az reports with reference to the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation that the national team will undergo a preparation process in Vladikavkaz, Russia, until May 19.
The training camp, which will include both physical and tactical-technical exercises, will be held under the leadership of head coach Alexander Tarakanov, senior coach Rovshan Bayramov, and coaches Hasan Aliyev and Elvin Mursaliyev. The following athletes will participate: Elmir Aliyev (55 kg), Nihat Mammadli, Ilkin Gurbanov (both 60 kg), Murad Mammadov, Ziya Babashov (both 63 kg), Hasrat Jafarov, Farid Khalilov, Muhammad Shukruzade (all 67 kg), Ulvi Ganizade, Ruslan Nurullayev (both 72 kg), Sanan Suleymanov, Khassay Hasanli (both 77 kg), Gurban Gurbanov (82 kg), Islam Abbasov (87 kg), Arif Niftullayev (97 kg) and Beka Kandelaki (130 kg).
It should be noted that national team members undergoing the recovery process will continue training in Baku under the supervision of coach Kamran Mammadov.
