"Vogue" magazine has published the details of the wedding of "Al-Nasr" and Portuguese national team striker Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez.
Sport.Biz reports that the couple decided to отказ themselves from a big celebration and held the ceremony in the living room of their home in Cascais. Only family members attended the wedding. Rodriguez explained that due to work commitments, competitions and children, they didn't want to postpone the celebration of their 10th anniversary.
"We will have a big wedding in the future with our family and friends, but for now I wanted something special and very personal with my partner and children at home" , - Rodriguez told "Vogue" magazine.
The couple's children were the main participants of the ceremony. Ronaldo and Rodriguez have five children: Cristiano, twins Eva and Mateo, Alana Martina and Bella.
For the wedding, Georgina chose a white silk "Gucci" suit and "Chopard" jewelry, including a 50-carat diamond necklace. Ronaldo wore a light beige suit of the same brand. The couple's choice of Gucci is rooted in their first meeting in 2016 at the brand's store in Madrid where Rodriguez worked.
Ronaldo and Rodriguez will not go on a honeymoon. The footballer is scheduled to return to Riyadh the next day, on August 15, for the start of the season.
According to Rodriguez, the wedding went exactly as she had imagined: "Sincere, full of love, and our family was the most important part of the day".
