The Ganja Cup 2026 swimming competition was held with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the organization of the Azerbaijan Swimming Federation (ASF). According to Sport24.az, about 150 athletes with a minimum of 150 WA rating points participated in the tournament held at the Gyanja Sports Palace.
Among the participants were representatives of the Paralympics, Deaflympics, and Special Olympics.
The award ceremony for the winners was attended by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Farid Gayibov, the head of the Gyanja City Executive Power, Niyazi Bayramov, the president of the ASF, Zaur Aliyev, and other officials.
Note that this year, for the first time, teams from Belarus and Georgia also participated in the second Ganja Cup competition.
