Crystal Palace have announced the signing of Japan defender Takehiro Tomiyasu on a free transfer.
Sport.Biz reports that the player will wear the number 17 jersey at the London club. The details of his contract with Crystal Palace have not been disclosed.
I'm looking forward to getting started. The club is in great shape and has won three titles in two seasons. I want to play here," Tomiyasu said, quoted by Crystal Palace's press service.
Crystal Palace finished 15th in the English Premier League last season. The Japanese player previously played for Arsenal and spent the second half of last season at Ajax.
