The World Wrestling Championship continues in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia.

Nureddin Novruzov (61 kg) won with full advantage in consolation matches against Ecuadorian Joshua Kramer (10:0) and Ukrainian Kamil Kerimov (12:2). Nureddin did not give any chance to North Korean representative Kum Kim in the bronze medal match. Our compatriot, who defeated his opponent with a "pin", became the world's third.
Arseniy Djioyev (86 kg) won against Ukrainian Muxammed Aliyev 7:2 in the consolation match, and against French Rahim Magamadov 7:0 in the bronze medal fight, and hung the bronze medal around his neck.
In the last match of the day, Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125 kg) faced Iranian Amir Zare. Our representative lost to his titled opponent with a score of 0:5 and finished the competition with a silver medal.

Turan Bayramov (74 kg) failed to cope with Russian Olympic and world champion Zaurbek Sidakov in the 1/16 finals – 1:5.
Jabrail Hajiyev (79 kg) advanced to the 1/8 finals in his debut as Sierra Leone wrestler Alfred Daniel did not appear on the mat. He then defeated Slovakian Axsarbek Gulayev with a score of 2:1. However, he lost to Greek European champion Georgios Kougioumtsidis with a score of 0:8 in the 1/4 finals. Since his opponent reached the final, Jabrail will compete in a consolation match tomorrow.
Osman Nurmagomedov (92 kg) initially beat Indian Dipak Punia by a minimal difference (4:3). In the 1/4 finals, during the match with Greek Olympic medalist and 3-time European champion Dauren Kurugliev, our wrestler was leading 2:0 when the opponent was injured and Osman advanced to the semi-finals. Nurmagomedov lost to American Trend Hidley one step away from the final – 4:15. Our representative will wrestle for the bronze medal tomorrow.
