Senegal's former head coach Pap Tiav has sent a letter to the Senegal Football Federation (FSF) demanding 646,000 euros. According to Sport24.az, "Pan Africa Football" has reported on this matter.
According to the expert's lawyers, the claim is related to unpaid salaries, bonuses, compensation, and other payments. Tiav stated that he has not received a salary since March 2026.
The lawyers have given the Senegal Football Federation eight days to pay the debt. If the payment is not made, they will appeal to the court.
Note that Tiav took over as the head coach of the Senegal national team in 2024. Although the team won the Africa Nations Cup in 2026 under his leadership, they were later penalized for the behavior of the coach and players in the final. In the 2026 World Cup, the Senegal national team stopped competing in the 1/8 finals.
