Azerbaijani wrestlers will compete in bronze medal and final matches at the U-17 European Championships held in Samokov, Bulgaria.
Idman.Biz reports that Abbas Shafiyev, competing in the 55 kg weight category, will compete for a bronze medal against French wrestler Issa Churaev and Hungarian representative Kiril Shumeyko.
In the 110 kg category, Hakim Tagiyev will test his strength in the bronze medal matches against Romanian wrestler Marku Vintan and Daniil Zhivula from Belarus.
In the final matches, Huseyn Rzazade will face Ukrainian wrestler Volodymyr Boyko in the 48 kg weight category, Rashid Nazarov will face Russian representative Maksim Mongush in the 65 kg category, and Nihad Suleymanli will face Turkish wrestler Emirhan Çayır in the 80 kg category.
It should be noted that the bronze medal matches will start today at 19:00 Baku time.
